1. What We Collect

When you sign in with Discord or Google we receive your basic profile information: your username, email address, and profile picture. We store this to create your PlayDuoQ account.

Information you add voluntarily — your bio, games, playstyle tags, availability, and region — is stored so other players can find and match with you.

We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To operate the matching and messaging features
• To show your profile to other players looking for duos
• To process payments if you upgrade to Pro (handled by Stripe — we never see your card details)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Who We Share Data With

Your profile information (username, games, bio, region) is visible to other logged-in PlayDuoQ users. Your email address and Discord handle are never shown publicly — your Discord handle is only shared with a user after a mutual match.

We use the following services that may process your data:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting

4. Data Retention

Your account and profile data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and messages are permanently deleted within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You can edit or delete your profile information at any time from your account settings. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us at support@playduoq.com.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app.
